I started skiing at the age of 6 and along the way persued certifications in Skiing, but never really found myself enjoying it. At the age of 12, I tried my first board and being one of a handful of snowboarders back then, I just looked at many of my local idols and learned how to ride. With time I started to develop my riding here and overseas. I learned from the best here and in Europe. at the age of 18 I decided to go deeper in that sport and in 2012 I landed my first sponsorship with Rome Sds and Class Sport. I rode for Burton Lebanon, Anon Optics, and Sports Experts in 2014-2015. In 2015-2016, I won the Red Bull Road Rush Competition while being an ambassador for Quiksilver Lebanon and DC Snowboarding Lebanon with support from Maison Du Ski and a special kind of support from Board Inc, whom supported with Libtech Snowboards. In 2017, I started competing in the Freeride World Tour while being endorsed again by Rome Sds Lebanon and Jack Wolfskin and Class Sport until this present day. When friends and family describe my personality, the first thing they say is that my life revolves around this sport. I was able to build a side career from it with the support of family friends and sponsors, and this sport in fact taught me a lot and most importantly Environmental Activism, Snow Safety Procedures, Respect to our dear mother nature and the big whites, and last but not least, Discipline.
I have been working with EU companies in sustainability, and have been a contributor to Protect Our Winters USA since 2014
My lessons are usually theoretical and practical. I want my students to learn the whole art of snowboarding and not just moving their bodies to maneuver without any knowledge of the technique names. Aside from all of that I usually follow up with my students during the season and in the off-season. I also work on a progression track in order to keep track of my students' status in riding. Whether a first timer or an expert rider, my job is to ensure that my students ride down the line properly and with full stability and confidence.
By far, I've never had a bad experience with any of my students and also maintain a friendship with them, and also ride with them from time to time.
